This was named for my Aunt Jan -- and Godmother -- who passed a few years ago.
Her favorite color was purple, so I tried to pick the most purple seedling I had. This
is one that bloomed for me that caught my eye, and although it is not as deep as the
pod parent, it had a nice color and shape with just a hint of a lavender eye zone. I
asked my cousins, and they liked it. So this is "Janith."
