One of the things you learn about Remote Viewing is that the
subconscious will pick up information, but before you realize you're
even picking something up, the conscious mind (ego) starts trying to
make sense of it. So what happens is you start to see whole images in
the mind that have elements of the target but the ego is misinterpreting
them. That is why -- particularly when first learning remote viewing --
it is more important to jot down ideas and concepts instead of whole
pictures and definitives. When you get enough practice, then you can
start being more specific with your descriptions. How do you get to
the point where you are more positive that what you are picking up is
the real deal? As Joe would say, "Practice, practice, practice."
This was from a session we did before retiring for the night. What I
was shown in my mind was a close-up of a chain link fence with the
end of a tract house behind it. I was careful how I labeled it to keep
from getting too specific with my descriptions. So "metal mesh" and
"structure" were used.
